Activists in Brattleboro, Vt. are calling for an <strong>International Day of Chalking Against State Violence</strong>, on Saturday, June 3. Autonomous actions with no central coordination; just get your chalks, go out by yourself or with others, and chalk about war, racism, police killings, prisons, sexual assaults or other issues.

July 18 is the fourth Annual <strong>“Chalk the Police State” Day</strong> organized by [[http://www.copblock.org/][CopBlock.org]].

Careful, though. Charges for conspiracy to place graffiti and defacing property were brought against four people in Las Vegas after they chalked against police brutality. And, others have faced criminal prosecution.
