Saturday, March 26: At 4:00 P.M. a mass march will start down Woodward from Central -Methodist Church at Adams and Woodward. We will march to Campus Martius carrying signs, banners, and giant grotesque puppets to the beat of death drums. At Campus Martius there will be a rally, during which an anti-war play by a prize-winning playwright, utilizing life-size puppets, will be presented. At 6:00 p.m. we will march from Campus Martius to Cobo Hall and picket the Jefferson-Jackson Day Dinner, an annual event’ sponsored by the Michigan Democratic Party, and protest their support of this totally unjustifiable war. At 8 p.m. Tom Hayden will speak on his recent trip to North Vietnam in room 2040 of Cobo Hall. Mr. Hayden is one of the founders of the Students for a Democratic Society and Is an organizer in the Newark Community Union Project.
