JACKSON, S.C.—Pvt. Henry Mills has refused orders to Vietnam. According to the American Serviceman’s Union, Mills came to New York to consult with them and then turned himself in at Ft. Dix, the nearest base. Mills, who is black, has stated that he will not participate in a war that is immoral and racist. He has been sentenced to two months hard labor in the stockade.
